Now with the TIE Fighter finished, the question has been what my next project would be? Well, for now anyways this is where I've decided to go. This AT-ST is actually a rework of a previously made model that I finished a while back. In the time since then, I've grown quite a bit as far as 3D modeling and goes, which means a pretty extensive workload sits in front me to upgrade this vehicle to 'modern' standards.

It's funny, looking back because there's so much I simply didn't model on this vehicle the first time around. But before I get too ahead myself, what are we looking at with the image to the right?

You'll note the majority of the body of the walker is blue, this is the old model. The gray feet on the other hand are new and updated. They are not yet finished, but are better looking than what once was there. You'll also note the lower legs don't fit into the mid legs anymore, and this is in preparation for their new alignment.

Previously the legs were a bit tall and gave the impression of a too slender vehicle. Looking closer at the feet, there's a remarkable amount of detail in the feed pads. More so than what I'm currently finding in reference material, which is requiring me to analyze photographs even harder now. In terms of design, it's also interesting how different this is from the TIE Fighter, it's hard to really put my finger on it currently in terms of how and why it feels different.
